Prayer of Intercession

If a child asks for bread, does his father give him a stone instead? Just as you know how to give good things to your children, so The Father will give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him - For those who love God, all things come together for good - it may not be what we expect, but we must accept the Divine Will of God, and let God be our God. St. Therese of Lisieux said what God wants to happen will happen and the world cannot stop it - she is now a Doctor of the Church due in great part because she taught the total surrender of the self to God. So, prayers of intercession should always be a surrender to God’s will.
